Fine Robusta is processed using the Natural Anaerobic process. The Natural Anaerobic process is a post-harvest coffee processing method that involves fermentation without oxygen. This process is carried out by placing the coffee berries in an airtight container, such as a fermentation tank or vacuum sack, and sealing it tightly. This method produces green coffee beans with unique flavor characteristics, such as a sweeter, fruitier taste and improved viscosity.
